This is a Sanctioned Steel Challenge match; Scores will be uploaded to SCSA for your national classification. This is a four hour format.  The squad you select determines the day and time that you shoot.  Minimum 5 stages.  Approximately *180* rounds.     Self squadding is available when registering via www.Practiscore.com (you'll need an account).

Ten dollars from every paid registration will be donated to the Operation Underground Railroad project (https://ourrescue.org/).  

Steel Challenge is a shooting sport focused on speed.  The match consists of standardized stages with steel targets in three sizes: 10” circular, 12” circular and 18” x 24”square targets.  Each stage is shot 5 times (5 strings) with the poorest score eliminated.  

Match day start times

  Saturday - AM Squads (when available)

     Registration opens at 9:00 AM

     Mandatory range brief: 9:45 AM*

     Hammer down at 10:00 AM

  Sunday (PM only) squad (when available)

     Registration opens at Noon

     Mandatory range brief: 11:45 PM*

     Hammer down at 12:00 PM

Please note that the Range brief is *mandatory*.

COLD RANGE: Shadow Hawk Defense is a cold range.  Upon arrival, the firearm must be in a case or bag that completely covers the firearm and prevents access to the trigger.

WAIVERS: All shooters and spectators will be required to sign a waiver for every match.  Minors must be accompanied by a participating or attending parent or guardian.  No youth under the age of 10 may be on the ranges.

AMMO: Bring extra ammo, ammo is not always available for purchase at the facility.

MINIMUM AGE: No youth under the age of 10 may be on the ranges.

TO GET TO THE RANGES: Upon entry through the gate, turn left.  Pass the tan building and go towards the tree line.  Follow the lane down & up the hill to the parking lot.
